NEWBORN SESSIONS TYPICALLY TAKE PLACE IN THE FIRST 2 WEEKS OF LIFE AND UP TO 3 MONTHS OLD

My goal is to make this experience as stress-free and enjoyable as possible. These newborn session are simplistic and timeless, focusing on capturing their unique details that make them so incredibly special. From that adorable fuzzy hair, those teeny tiny little toes to the beautiful connections you share as a family.
During your session, we'll create a beautiful collection of images. This includes individual shots of your baby, as well as sibling photos, parent shots, and family portraits if you wish.
We allocate up to two hours for these sessions, ensuring there's plenty of time for feeding, diaper changes, settling, and all those extra cuddles your baby might need.
Sessions are typically held mid-morning on weekdays in my cozy home studio in Secret Harbour or they can take place as a lifestyle outdoor family session. Lifestyle sessions are held at an outdoor location at either sunrise or sunset.
Newborns sessions typically take place within the first two weeks but can be done right up to three months old.

I WANT TO BOOK IN
Reach out to me by filling out the contact form below and we can discuss your session details and availability. All sessions require a $200 deposit and signed contract to confirm your date. The remaining balance is then due one week prior to your session date.
WHAT DAYS ARE AVAILABLE?
Most of my shoots take place on weekedays.
I do however work one weekend a month and these book up very quickly, So please reach out asap if a weekday will not work for you.
WHAT TIME OF THE DAY WILL MY SESSION BE?
If we are shooting in the studio these are held mid morning. Shooting outdoors, this will be either in the morning just after sunrise or in the evening and hour or two before sunset. The light is typically too harsh mid day unless were in the studio. So if your children are up for it, shooting one to two hours before sunset provides gorgeous light and atmosphere.
WHEN & HOW DO I BOOK A NEWBORN SESSION?
The best time to book your session is while still pregnant. The earlier the better, usually in the second trimester. Studio Newborn Sessions typically take place in the first two weeks of life (think those sleepy & curled up poses) but can be taken up to three months old. Older babies may not sleep during their shoot so these sessions involve more awake & parent holding/family images.
We all know babies like to come in their own time so these sessions are booked 1-2 weeks after your due date. All i ask from my clients is to let me know once baby has arrived and we can shift the date if needed.
Studio Newborn sessions are held mornings weekdays at my home studio in Secret Harbour.
MY BABY IS OLDER THAN TWO WEEKS, CAN I STILL BOOK?
YES! I offer Newborn shoots up to 3months old both In-home and studio. Its never 'too late' to book. For older babies i would recommend booking a family outdoor session or milestone session (sitter/1 year old). Please reach out so we can discuss your session!

I'm in Secret Harbour, 45 minutes south of Perth CBD
WHEN WILL MY GALLERY BE READY?
I aim to get your gallery back to you as soon as possible as I know how excited you are to see your photos. Typically, my turnaround time is around 2-3 weeks
I WANT TO UPGRADE TO MY FULL GALLERY
You can upgrade at anytime throughout your booking or after your sessions once you've received your gallery. Upgrade to your full gallery for an additional $150.
